加拿大Alberta省礦業公司總裁 C.E.O.Mr.Jim Gardiner 老先生，他在10幾年前，在多倫多市離中國城約8、9個街口遠的路邊，放了幾噸重中國華工開山鑿洞挖出的巨石。為了感佩堅忍華工的犧牲奉獻，又在五步之遙立碑，碑前長年獻上鮮花哪怕是狂風暴雪，從不間斷。
而碑的上面有個華工雕像正努力搭橋開採冶金煤,無煙煤,老先生捐獻出來的紀念碑,告訴加拿大人,華人移民堅忍不拔,堅苦卓絕,不可忽略,忘記,華人對加拿大的貢獻。
地点：Bremner Ave. and Navy Warf Ct. close to Spadina Ave. and Lakeshore Blvd. downtown
The stone and memorial that were donated by John's dad, is located at Bremner Ave. and Navy Warf Ct. close to Spadina Ave. and Lakeshore Blvd. downtown.
His dad and his company Fording Co. donated it to the City of Toronto around year 2000.
